It was a normal day in the wilderness, just walking and looking around, as usual. I came all the way from Quebec to here, in the woods somewhere. I don’t know where I am exactly, but it’s nice and peaceful. Wherever I go, I always take my chain along with me. It might be fake, but it’s a good chain. I always think the chain brings me luck, and it could protect me from some things. It’s been 5 months since I left Canada, and I am feeling pretty homesick, but I like exploring the world, it’s awesome.
I set up my tent near a small tree, not that it would give me much protection from the rain, but it’s decent. I started a fire on a small pile of wood, it was a bit cold out. I took out my thermometer, it reads 40 degrees in fahrenheit. As time went by, it started to get bright. It was a great Autumn day in October. I packed my things and went farther into the woods. It was a long walk, and I encountered some loess on the way. I picked up the dust and put it in a jar. I kept walking farther into the woods, until I made it all the way to Moscow.
The city was really great, all the buildings, and St. Basil’s Cathedral is just fascinating. I kind of got lost in the city, and I didn’t have a place to stay. I didn’t really mind sleeping in the alleys. It was the only place for me to stay. It became dark in the city, I wasn’t really tired yet, I was actually hungry, and so I went to a store, but I didn’t really have any money with me. I walked out of the store and searched for food. After an hour, I finally found some food. It was a bagel, 10 of them to be exact. It was out in the open. I decided to steal it from the bakery. I ran away with the bagels, and it’s a good thing nobody saw me. I set up my tent in an alley, and ate a bagel. 9 bagels remained.
As the sun rises up into the sky, I pack my things and venture out. I decided to stay in Moscow for 2 more days, since there’s so much to see and do. While I was walking, I was thinking about going to Japan. I haven’t been there in my whole life, but it must be great. It was a cold day here in the city, so I put on my green jacket to stay warm. As I was exploring the city, I walked right past the bakery where I stole the bagels from. The man seemed pretty upset, and I definitely know why. I stole the bagels from the bakery. Since nobody saw me, I shouldn’t really be suspicious, right? Well that’s just not the case, the man called me out infront of everyone. I was in shock, I swore nobody saw me, but I was wrong. I saw the police coming down the street, I ran away as fast as I could.
“They were just bagels!!!” I exclaimed.
As I was running, I turned and went into an alley, and luckily, they drove right past me. And so I was safe. Just until there aren’t any “Wanted” posters. But there were, and I had no choice but to stay in the alleys, hidden until the next day was over, and I was hungry. 8 bagels remained.
It went dark, I was in my tent just thinking about what would happen if I went out there. Would I get arrested? And the answer is yes, so I might as well just stay here until I go to Japan. As the sky lightens up, I pack my things and go out and explore. But I have to do it secretly, because if anyone sees me, I might get caught. I decided to leave Moscow and go to Japan. I had to be sneaky around people, or else I would get caught. I hid behind some cars and buildings, and then I ran. I made it into a dry grassland, I think I’m in the steppes.
I was completely vulnerable now, I had nowhere to hide, except lying down, but I don’t think it’s going to do much. I heard sirens in the distance, that’s when I started running again. The sirens got louder, the police were getting closer, I kept running until I couldn’t run anymore. As I was running, I saw a rock. The rock was a decent size to cause a lot of damage to a car, so I picked the rock up. The rock was heavy, but I managed to throw it at the cars. One of the police cars crashed into the rock and the wheel came off. The car tipped over and it couldn’t move anymore, then the man just came out of the car chasing me while being injured. There were 4 police cars after me, and I took one out, now there’s 3. I couldn’t stop for a break, so I just had to keep running even if I’m tired. Luckily, the cars ran out of gas. It seems they forgot to fuel up their cars. I guess there were no cars left, but the police got out of the cars and came after me.
One police officer pulled the gun’s trigger, the bullet was very close to hitting me. As I was running away, the sky got pretty dark and cloudy. It seemed like a huge storm was going to hit. It was a typhoon, a very powerful storm. It started to rain a lot, and it was starting to flood. The police retreated back to Moscow, the storm was too much for them, but I don’t think that’s the last of them. I only stole bagels! What’s the big deal about stealing bagels!? Oh well, I have to take shelter from the storm. The wind was blowing hard, I couldn't see anything. I kept walking through the storm, it was difficult, and there was no time to rest. I checked my watch, it’s been 1 hour, and the typhoon was starting to go away. It was calm, I kept walking in the mud, it got my shoes dirty, but I didn’t mind. Night time came, I set up my tent, and I was also hungry, so I ate a bagel, of course. 7 bagels remained.
It was morning, I wasn’t really hungry, so I packed my things and continued to go to Japan. It was until I found an airplane all by itself. It must've been abandoned. I got inside the plane and tried to turn it on. The plane started to shake a bit, then it finally started.
“Well what do you know, the plane works!” I exclaimed in excitement.
I don’t really know how to fly a plane, well, I know the controls, and how planes fly, but I haven’t done it myself. I also found a terracotta mug in the cup holder, of course, terracotta is baked clay. The mug must’ve been here for a long time, but the plane looks pretty new, so I don’t think it’s been here for too long, but it’s a bit rusty. I started to take off. I was doing pretty well for a beginner. I could get to Japan in just a few hours, I wasn’t that far away. After 9 hours, I made it to Tokyo, and I ate a bagel. 6 bagels remained.
It was already night time in Japan, and I wasn’t even sleepy. I know for a fact that Tokyo is 6 hours ahead of Moscow, so no wonder it’s already pretty dark. It’s already midnight, and I left around 9 A.M, so it should be 6 P.M, but I guess not. I landed my plane in a plain, flat area. I got out of the plane and explored Tokyo. I should be safe here. While I was walking, I noticed someone that looked like a shogun. But weren’t shoguns discontinued? I guess this guy wants to be a shogun, I also don’t know if he knows that shoguns aren’t a thing anymore. But he seems serious. The shogun walked up to me. I think he sees me as “unusual”.
“あなたのバックパックには何が入っていますか?” he asked.
I didn’t understand what he said, since it was in japanese. The shogun then saw that I was wearing a chain around my neck.
“あなたのチェーンは面白いです.”
I’m confused. I can’t understand japanese. The shogun seems to like my chain. He seized my fake chain after a few seconds.
The shogun ran away with my chain. I was very confused, why would he take my chain? The shogun was running outside of the city, and found my plane and took off. I managed to grab the wing. As I was holding on to the wing, I climbed on top of the wing and crawled to the window and tried to break it.
“Give me back my chain!!!” I yelled.
“いいえ、今は私のチェーンです!!!” He yelled back.
I tried breaking the window by pushing it. Maybe the force will break the window. It actually worked, I didn’t really expect it would happen! I tried to get my chain back, but the shogun kicked me right on to the controls. I landed on the yoke, the plane was going down, and slightly to the left. As the plane was falling, I quickly punched the shogun, took the chain, took a parachute, and jumped out of the plane! The plane didn’t go too far after it took off. The shogun jumped out of the plane as well, with a parachute of course. The both of us were going to land near a temple. When I finally landed, I ran right in the building and tried to hide. The shogun was chasing after me. I managed to lose him, and as I was walking, I found a picture. It shows a dynastic cycle, how one ruler makes their son the new ruler. I know for a fact, a dynasty is when the rulers are from the same family.
I looked out the window and saw a caravan pass by. I think those merchants traveled a long way. As I was looking out the window, watching the caravan, the shogun sneaked up behind me, grabbed my arms and threw me against a karuta. The shogun grabbed a katana from a case and charged. I grabbed a katana from another case and… Just stood… The shogun jumped and swung his sword, but I dodged it. I swung my sword but I also missed. The battle was getting nowhere, so I ran. I actually ran with the karuta to put it on, without getting sliced into pieces. I put the suit on and ran right at the shogun, about to attack. I’m not really the fighting type, I’m more of the flight person. But I was brave enough to fight the shogun. He also put a karuta on. The shogun swung his sword, he hit a case. I swung my sword, I hit a wall. The shogun swung his sword, he hit a book? I swung my sword, I hit a table? I don’t understand why there are a bunch of these random things in this temple. It’s all confusing. I decided to kick for my next attack. It didn’t go well. The shogun dropped his sword, and pulled my leg, dragging me to a bookshelf. As I was getting up, the shogun pushed the bookshelf on top of me, but I managed to roll right out of it’s range. Then, I heard knocking, the police were here.
I got up and tried to run out the back of the temple, but the shogun grabbed my arm and wouldn’t let go. He wanted the police to arrest me. I just stole bagels. I was hungry, I had no other food to eat! But the shogun stole my chain, so he should be arrested.
“You thought you could get away, well we caught you.” said one of the police officers.
They have pretty good english, but I just wanted to go home, I’ve been gone from Canada for over 5 months. I’m only 14, I don’t want to end up in jail for stealing bagels!
“The shogun stole my chain, I got it back, then he chased after me!” I explained.
“AND I JUST STOLE BAGELS BECAUSE I WAS HUNGRY!!!”
“HEY!!!” The officer shouted.
“Calm down, there’s no point in arguing anymore. You’re both under arrest.”
I got pretty mad, so without thinking, I picked up my katana with my right hand and swung it right through the police officer. The other 3 police officers got their guns out, and pulled the triggers. I quickly deflected the bullets and sliced through another officer. And another! The last officer surrendered and fled the temple.
“OKAY, I’ll let you off the hook, just don’t kill me!!!” The officer exclaimed.
The officer left and I was free to go! Well, the shogun is still a problem.
The shogun and I kept fighting. I was swinging the katana, trying to hit the shogun, but he’s pretty good at dodging. I swung my sword, I hit a window. The shogun swung his sword, he hit the picture on the wall that showed a dynastic cycle. I jumped, and kicked the shogun in the face, but then he swung his sword and almost sliced my leg off. I got a few scratches on my armor, but I was still good. I swung my sword to the left of the shogun, then quickly swung it to the right. I was fast enough to swing my sword before he could even react! I hit his hip, but the suit was pretty strong. We’ve been fighting for a while and I started to notice that the shogun doesn’t really look japanese. I don’t think the shogun is from here. I think the shogun isn’t even a shogun at all, he’s just pretending to be one. I knew something was off, shoguns were discontinued around the 19th century! It became clear that this guy is not a shogun. He doesn’t look Japanese, but he learned to speak japanese. I asked the person this question.
“STOP, are you really a shogun?”
“No. And this is between you and me. But I don’t think it matters, because everyone knows that there are no shoguns anymore. So if I was a shogun, you’d ask a person who the shogun of Japan is, and they would say that there’s no shogun. So I’d be a fake shogun.” He said.
“Did you just learn japanese to prove you’re a shogun?” I asked.
“Yes, yes I did. I’m from Quebec.”
“Really? So am I. I left Canada 5 months ago to explore the world!”
“And how old are you?”
“14 years old, and my name is Eric.”
“I’m 15, and my name is Ken!”
The conversation was getting interesting. The both of us stopped fighting and just talked the whole time. Apparently, Ken was in Japan for just 2 months, but he said he would return to Canada soon.
The talking didn’t last too long, we went back to fighting. Ken still wanted my chain. I just had to ask.
“Why do you want my chain?”
“I want your chain because it’s precious. I just have to have it!” Ken replied.
I didn’t want to fight anymore, so I ran out of the temple, to the plane. Ken chased me with his katana. After a few minutes, I found the plane. Part of the left wing was broken, but I took my chances. I got into the cockpit and turned on the plane, it took a few seconds for it to start. Ken got on the plane, I tried pushing him out the window that I broke, but he threw me out instead. Ken flew the plane, trying to shake me off, and I had no idea where he was going. The flight seemed pretty directional, Ken was trying to go someplace.
“Where are you going?!” I yelled while holding on to the wing.
“I’m going to crash this plane into the Sea of Japan!”
Ken shook the plane and kept doing it until I lost my grip on the wing. I did lose my grip and fly backwards, but I grabbed a window and broke in. Ken didn’t notice the sound of the glass shattering. The shaking had stopped. I decided to take a look around the plane. I wanted to see if there were any boats on board, and there were. I looked outside a window and saw the Sea of Japan. We were getting close to crashing. I quickly ran to the cockpit and swung my sword at Ken, and surprisingly, I made a large cut on his right arm.
I guess the armor couldn’t take it anymore. I pushed Ken out of the way and steered the plane all the way back to Canada. Ken was pretty hurt, but he got up and grabbed my arm and dragged me across the plane. I tried to shake him off, but it was no use. Ken locked me in a room that was at the very back of the plane. I was trapped, I had no escape. Unless I break the door, but the door is made of strong metal, so I don’t think that’s happening. My katana was still in the cockpit, so I couldn’t use it to make a hole through the door. I had to think of another plan. I searched in my backpack for some things that could help me break out. All I had were a pair of safety goggles, the loess dust I found in the woods, my 6 remaining bagels, a small axe, my tent, and a map. When I ran out of the temple, it was starting to get dark. I was getting pretty hungry, so I ate a bagel. 5 bagels remained.
I was still trapped in the room, and I had to use the bathroom. I tried charging at the door to break out of this room. It took around 10 tries for me to break through. I was finally out of the room, and I looked out the window. It was dark outside. I used the bathroom, and then quietly snuck in the cockpit without Ken noticing me. I picked up my katana, and smashed the controls. Then I swung the katana at Ken’s right leg. I also couldn’t help but notice how close we were from crashing into the Sea of Japan. The plane was still intact, I just had to steer the plane back on course to Quebec. Ken was pretty injured, he groaned in pain. I was trying to steer the plane back to Quebec, but smashing the controls with a katana was not a good idea. The plane was going down.
I dragged Ken along with me to get one of the boats from the back of the plane, I also got a paddle. I carefully put Ken inside the boat. I pushed the boat out the emergency door and hopped on. It was going to be a rough landing, and I had to paddle to Canada. It was going to take 1 week, 3 weeks, maybe even a month or 2, but I was determined to get back home, along with Ken. So I better get comfy, because it’s going to take a while.
“You saved me?” Ken asked.
Ken was confused on why I saved him from the plane. We were literally fighting, but I couldn’t risk leaving anyone behind.
“Yeah, I saved you. Just don’t try to kill me, okay? I’m tired of this.” I replied.
“Okay. I don’t even want your chain anymore.”
I kept rowing the boat. The both of us slept for a few hours, then I woke up to keep rowing. But sooner or later, I knew… We were lost.
I didn’t have a compass with me, so I didn’t know if I was going north, south, west or east. It was until I noticed that the water was turning a bit yellow. We were headed to the Yellow Sea. After a few hours, Ken and I arrived in China. We both got out of the boat and took a look around Tangshan. Ken’s leg was feeling a bit better, but he said it still hurts a bit. The people were staring at us. I think it’s because Ken and I both have katanas, and are wearing karutas. We both ignored them, and headed to Beijing. I always wanted to be in Beijing, and see what it’s like to be there. But it won’t last too long, I just wanted to get back home. I had enough of an adventure for 5 months, and Ken must be too. Even if it’s 2 months. I was hungry since I didn’t eat anything while being in the boat. It was a long ride, so I ate another bagel. 4 bagels remained.
Ken and I walked all the way to Beijing, it was beautiful. But I didn’t want to be here for too long, I wanted to go back home. So Ken and I kept walking, and then took a taxi, all the way to the end of the city. Well, as far as the taxi goes. We took 2 taxis, then just walked the rest of the way. It was a long way back home, but it’s all worth it.
“How much farther do we have to go? I’m getting tired.” Said Ken.
“Just a few more thousand miles, then we should be back home. We just have to get through the Taklamakan Desert.” I replied.
“WHAT!? Errr, fine…”
Ken got frustrated, but we had to do this, I don’t see an airport anywhere. Even though I could’ve asked the taxi driver to take us to one. But I like the challenge, so I didn’t do it. It got a bit dark, and I didn’t eat anything. Ken only ate some soup and a steak he got for free, I didn’t have any. I have my bagels, I didn’t want to eat anything else until we got back to Quebec. 3 bagels remained.
It’s been a few hours, but we made it to the Taklamakan Desert. The desert is pretty empty, and there’s a lot of sand. It was starting to get pretty hot. But I can handle the heat.
“We're going to be here for some time.” I said.
“I only have 3 bagels left to eat.”
“I don’t really see any people in this area. So we're just going to keep walking until we get somewhere.”
I don’t know how long the both of us were going to be in the desert, but we had to keep going.
It’s really hot in the desert, it’s been a few hours, and it was getting a bit dark out.
“It’s getting pretty cold. I don’t think I can keep going.” Ken complained.
“Come on, we can make it. We need to make it to at least a place where people live. We can’t go back now, we made it so far.” I replied.
It was cold in the desert, and a bit windy, the sand was moving in waves. It was interesting, but I shouldn’t get distracted like this. Ken wanted to go home, and we’re getting there.
It was cold, and dark. The wind was starting to pick up. Ken and I struggled, trying to get through the wind. The wind was really getting tough to go through.
“We should be fine. Just a bit more to go. I think” I said.
“You think? THE WIND IS CRAZY, WE HAVE TO GO BACK!!!” Ken yelled.
“NO, we have to keep going.”
It was at this moment, where it went bad. A random tire came right at me, and hit my stomach.
It hurts pretty badly. I collapsed, I didn’t feel like getting up. The 40 mile per hour wind really pushed that wheel. I couldn’t get up without groaning in pain.
“It hurts, I think you have to carry me.” I said in pain.
“No, come on. Get up, you can do it”
“I don’t think I can.”
“You can’t stop now, we can’t stay in this desert for too long. We’ll die.”
“JUST CARRY ME ALREADY!!!”
I snapped at Ken. He followed what I said and carried me through the desert. I will walk when I feel better. But now, I’m just being carried through this strong wind.
“How are you doing?” Ken asked.
“I’m good, thanks.” I replied.
“The wind is still strong, and you’re pretty heavy. I don’t think I can carry you any longer.”
“Come on, you’re fine. It’s only a few more miles.”
“You’re not helping. A few more miles is not a short distance.”
“Just keep going.”
Ken was struggling. The wind was blowing him back a bit, and my weight is making it worse. But I know Ken can do it. I was starting to feel a bit better. I told Ken to put me down.
“Are you sure?” Ken asked.
“Yes, I’m sure. Put me down.”
The wind was getting worse, it was like 70 miles per hour. I couldn’t see anything. The sand was being blown right at my face. I took out my safety goggles and put them on. I only had one pair, but I think Ken can handle the sand.
“This wind is intense!” Ken yelled.
The whistling of the wind was blocking the sound out.
“What!?” I yelled back
“The wind is loud, what did you say!?”
The wind was really crazy. It was pushing me back, I tried to go forward but I ended up slipping. I grabbed on to Ken’s left leg, but I dragged him to the ground with me.
“WHAT DO WE DO NOW!?” Ken yelled.
“I DON’T KNOW!!!” I yelled in reply.
Ken and I were blown back by a few feet. We couldn’t handle the wind.
We were buried under the sand, struggling to get up. Ken and I were still being blown back a few inches. I tried to get up, but I couldn’t. The sand on top of me was too heavy for me to get up. Ken was swinging his katana like crazy, trying to move the sand.
“I don’t think swinging your katana is going to help.” I said.
“I don’t care, I got to do something to get out of this sand.” Ken replied.
We could barely hear each other. But we both heard what we said. It was faint.
The wind eventually blew the sand away, and we both got up. The wind was starting to die down. It is getting calmer now.
“The wind is finally starting to go away.” I said.
“That’s a good thing.” Ken replied
Ken and I kept walking, we were tired. I set up my tent because it was already pretty dark. The wind has been blowing for hours, and my bones are stiff from not moving for some time. I got hungry. So I ate a bagel, of course. 2 bagels remained.
After a peaceful night, I put the tent in my backpack, and kept walking.
“I’m tired.” Ken said
“Really? We just slept for a few hours. How are you tired?” I asked
“I didn’t get too much sleep, I got up to check outside around 10 at night. I checked your watch.”
“Okaaay???”
“Let’s keep going, I just want to go home already.”
I saw something in the distance. It looked like a tree. And it was a tree. The tree was on it’s side. It must’ve been blown down by the strong wind that blew US down.
“Should we take it with us?” I asked Ken.
“Why? It’s just a tree.”
“Yeah, but it could make a good campfire at night.”
“Well… Okay, let’s take it.”
The tree was pretty small, but it was enough wood to make a campfire.
As it became evening, the temperature dropped 30 degrees. I started a fire with the wood I gathered with Ken. It kept us warm for a bit, until the 70 mile per hour wind came back.
“NO, NOT AGAIN!!!” Ken shouted.
“We have to go back, NOW!!! I CAN’T TAKE IT ANYMORE!!! WHEN WILL WE MAKE IT TO A CITY!!!” Ken complained.
“We just have to keep going!”
“WHAT!?!?!?”
“WE HAVE TO KEEP GOING AND NOT STOP, WE’RE ALMOST TO THE NEXT COUNTRY!!!” I shouted.
Ken was worried, he was so angry, we started fighting again.
Ken swung his sword and missed me. He kept swinging until he killed me.
“KEN, STOP!!!” I commanded.
Ken didn’t listen, he kept swinging the katana. Ken eventually charged at me and I got out of the way. He was running in the direction where the wind was blowing. Ken got a few inches off the ground for 5 seconds, at 10 miles per hour because of his weight, and fell on his face. It was ridiculous. Ken gave up and just apologized to me. I forgave him, of course. He got a bit impulsive at the moment. We later got blown back another few feet.
“HOW MUCH LONGER!?” Ken shouted.
“I’M NOT SURE, BUT WE SHOULD BE CLOSE TO BEING OUT OF THE DESERT!!!” I replied in a shout.
The both of us were close to something in the distance. I don’t really know what it is, but it’s something.
“I SEE SOMETHING!!!” I shouted.
“WHAT IS IT!?”
“IT LOOKS LIKE A PLANE!!!”
“A LANE!?!?!?”
“A PLAAAAAAANE!!!”
“A CHAIN!?!?!?”
“NO!!! A PLAAAAAAAAAAAAANE!!!”
“A STAIN!?!?!?”
“IT’S A PLANE!!! IT’S A BIG PLANE THAT’S IN THE DISTANCE!!!”
“OOOOOOHHH!!!”
“...”
“A CANE!?!?!?”
“AAAAAH!!!”
I yelled in frustration. It was hard to hear things in the wind. But then the wind died down again. Everything was pretty calm… For now…
The plane appeared in the distance. I think it was 1 or 2 miles away.
“Do you think we can make it there?” I asked.
“Maybe, if we run.” Ken replied.
Ken and I ran to the airplane in the distance. We ran for a few minutes, then took a break. After 5 minutes of walking, we started running again. We made it to the plane in just around an hour. The caravan that I saw is right next to the plane. It took me a minute to realize that it’s the same plane that crashed into the Sea of Japan!
“How did you guys find the plane?” I asked the merchants.
“We were searching the sea for something interesting. We found the plane on the shore and took it with us.” Said one of the merchants.
“So you happened to be at the Sea of Japan and found the plane?” Ken asked
“Yes, we found the plane, lying on the shore. We fixed it. Is it yours?”
“Yeah, I found it and took it to Japan. Then SOMEONE decided to take it and crash it on purpose.”
I was glad to be with the plane again. It was all fixed, which is great. But then I noticed something was off. The merchants seemed to act all nervous, like they were being held hostage. And they were. The Russian police had them like that.
“You guys aren’t going anywhere.” Said one of the officers.
“We had these 5 hostages to bring the plane here.
The police came out from the plane and had their guns pointed right at the merchants, and us as well. I had my katana, I could easily kill the 5 policemen. But I don’t think I should make any sudden movements when they literally have guns that might kill us at any second.
“We’re taking the 7 of you to Russia.”
“What did the merchants do?” I asked the police.
“They went out the emergency exit of a store when there wasn’t an emergency.”
“Seriously?”
“Yeah seriously. Now shut up, we're taking you to Russia.”
The police knocked us out, and put us in the room at the back of the plane. Just like Ken, who put me in that room. Except, he didn’t knock me out, he just dragged me there.
After hours of being on the plane. The 7 of us woke up.
“What happened?” Asked Ken.
“Oh, I remember.”
“How do we get out of here?”
“We could bust the door down. That’s what I did last time.” I replied.
Last time, it took me 10 times to knock the door down. But I decided for all of us to do it at the same time, so we don’t have to do it over and over again. We all counted down.
“In 5… 4… 3… 2… 1… CHARGE!!!”
BANG! The door came down.
“Well what do we have here.” Said one of the officers.
“We’ve got a group of criminals breaking out. Too bad I was here guarding the door. Just in case you decided to break out. And you did!”
“Why are you doing this!?” I shouted.
“I was free to go!”
“My friends and I didn’t notice we went out the emergency exit.” One of the merchants said.
“Well it’s too bad. You’re all not going to leave this plane. Now do you hear me!”
“Yes, we’re not leaving the plane… We’re taking it back!” I said.
I punched the officer in the face and ran to get my katana back, and Ken needed his too.
I quickly grabbed the katana and quickly attacked one of the officers. I chopped their head off and threw it out the emergency door. I quickly closed the door and kept killing. Ken had killed 2 officers, I killed 2 officers, and the merchants killed the last one. We threw the bodies out the door and I steered the plane to India. India is where the merchants were from. After a few hours, I dropped them off at New Delhi, where they live. I then steered the plane to Quebec. Ken and I were going home.
As I was flying the plane. The sky was getting pretty dark. I think a storm is coming.
“I think you should take a different route.” Ken suggested.
“No, I want to keep going this way. We’ll get home faster.” I replied.
“I hope you know what you’re doing Eric. I don’t want to go through any more trouble. I already had enough from the fighting, the wind in the desert, and the police.”
“Don’t worry, we’ll make it through this storm, if it’s the last thing I do!”
“Alright then, if you insist. But don’t say I didn’t warn you.”
“You warned me alright. I already see lightning.”
The wind and rain were becoming a problem, I couldn’t see anything in this storm.
“Now what do we do?” Ken asked.
“I don’t know. What I do know is that I’m not turning around. I’m going to keep going until we get home! Now do you hear me!” I replied determindley
“Yes, I hear you…”
“Good, we just have to persevere through this storm.”
The rain turned into hail. The windows were starting to crack, it was getting rough.
“The storm is getting worse Eric, do you still want to keep going?.”
“Yes. This storm won’t stop me, but we better secure the windows and doors.”
I set the plane to autopilot and got out of my seat to secure the windows while Ken secured the doors. The storm got worse, and I wasn’t going to let it stop me from getting home with Ken. I was also getting hungry, so I ate a bagel. I’m going to have to save the last bagel until I get home. So I can eat it peacefully. With that being said, 1 bagel remained.
I can hear the hail hitting the plane, and the lighting flashes very brightly.
“Ken, how are you doing with the doors?” I asked.
“I’m doing fine. What about the windows?”
“There are cracks on a few windows!”
“If the windows break, that could cause trouble!”
“I know, I’m trying to tape the cracks!”
“I don’t think tape is going to do much.”
“It will keep it from getting worse, just not for too long.”
The window cracks got worse, and finally, the windows broke.
The rain and hail were getting in the plane. The wind was really intense. The fact that we’re the plane is traveling at 500 miles per hour.
“KEN, HELP!!!” I yelled.
“WOAH, AAAAAHHH!!!” Ken yelled as he was sliding to the back of the plane.
The plane was going upwards, the wind must be so strong, it’s pushing the plane up. I quickly ran to the cockpit, turned off autopilot, and steered the plane down. The wind was too strong for me to go down. I held on to the chair and tried to move the yoke. I let go of the chair because my arms couldn’t take it anymore, it was a disaster.
“KEN, WHAT DO WE DO NOW!?”
“I DON’T KNOW!!!”
“We have to think of something!!!”
“We’re going to crash if we don’t come up with a plan to stop the plane from crashing!!!”
“If we’re lucky, we’ll probably crash into the Eiffel Tower!!!”
“I don’t think that’s a good thing.”
After a few minutes, lightning struck both wings. The plane was unstable, but I didn’t give up. I never will.
“WE NEED TO GET OFF THIS PLANE!!!” Ken shouted in fear.
“NO, WE CAN’T GIVE UP!!!” I said in bravery.
“STAY WITH ME, WE WILL GET THROUGH THIS!!!”
“DO YOU UNDERSTAND!!!”
“Yes…” Ken replied.
I tried walking to the cockpit, I held on to things so I didn’t slide down the plane. As I climbed up, I finally made it. I steered the plane down one more time, and it worked. The storm was clearing, I now realized it’s been 1 hour. The plane was still able to fly, but not for too long.
Under my seat, there were tools to fix plane wings and other things. I gave them to Ken while I flew the plane. Ken fixed the windows of the plane and then went outside to fix the wings. Ken started on the left wing.
“AAAH! This is tough!” Ken shouted.
“I feel like I’m going to get blown away!”
Ken fixed the left wing and moved on to the right wing. Ken finished fixing the right wing and came back inside the plane.
“From 1 to 10, how hard was it to fix the wings?” I asked.
“20, I give it a 20 because I could’ve been blown away!!!” Ken shouts.
“I think I should fly the plane. You need a break.” Ken insisted.
“Okay, just don’t do anything crazy.”
After a few minutes, Ken did something crazy. He shook the plane until he had diarrhea.
“KEN, WHAT ARE YOU DOING!?” I shouted.
“I just wanted to make things more exciting. But now you should take over, I have to go diarrhea in the bathroom.” Ken replied.
It was a smooth flight. Ken got out of the bathroom in relief.
“Did anything interesting happen?” Ken asked.
“No, except a bird that hit the windshield.” I replied.
“Oh, okay.”
There wasn’t much going on right now. It seems Ken and I can finally go home peacefully. I put the plane on autopilot, and rested until the next day with Ken.
I woke up in shock, I heard something come from the cabin. I checked to see what was going on, the plane was being invaded by 30 Russian policemen!
“What is up with you guys, when will you leave us alone!!!” I said in frustration.
“You’re not getting away with your bagel crime, and YOU aren’t getting away with imitating a shogun!!!” One officer said.
“Why do you care so much about bagels?” I asked.
“Yeah, and why do you care if I imitate a shogun. They’re from Japan!!!” Ken said.
The police came from a hovercraft the size of a fortress!!!
“Where did you get that thing!?” I asked.
“From Russia. We’re taking over!!!”
Ken and I were knocked out, again by the Russian police. After a bit, we woke up. Ken and I were inside the hovercraft, in some sort of cell with red laser bars.
“How do we get out of here?” Ken asked.
“I don’t know, maybe I could make the lasers reflect off our katanas.” I replied
“At least we got to keep the weapons.” Ken said.
I was thinking of a good plan, but I didn’t have any, so I ran right through the lasers and I got out! Ken did the same. We both ran past the lasers before they went through our karutas. Now we had to escape the hovercraft, but first, we had to kill every single police in here. We’re going to take over the hovercraft, and return to Canada!!!
Ken and I sneaked around the hovercraft, and destroyed some security cameras along the way. The both of us snuck in the “Security/Tracking” room. There was no one in the room, which is a good thing. There was a big screen with a map of the hovercraft, showing where all the police are, and also vitals. Each dot is a police officer, there were a total of 300 policemen on board. All police officers were alive and well. I pulled up a chart to see what things represent what. Green means the officer is alive, yellow means the officer is injured and possibly might die, and red means the officer is dead. I pulled up the security cameras, all I saw that was interesting were 2 police officers KISSING??? Must be a couple…
On the security cameras, I saw that there were 2 officers guarding the door to the plane.
“What’s our plan to kill the police?” Ken asked.
“We spread out and kill them quickly, so we can get home sooner.” I replied.
“When you see an officer, instantly kill them. Got it?”
“Got it. Let’s move.”
Ken and I separated. We went on a killing spree.
I walked down the hallways, took down a few cameras, and killed 2 police officers. I walked in a room with a lot of files. I decided to burn them all with a match and run out of the room. It was risky, but I managed to get out before the police got to the room.
“This is for being stupid. Seriously, WHY ARE YOU ALL STILL AFTER ME, THEY’RE JUST BAGELS, WHO ARRESTS SOMEONE FOR STEALING BAGELS!!!”
I got pretty angry. I impulsively shouted and quickly fled to the nearest room to hide.
I saw 10 officers walk in the room, I took them all down and put the bodies in the drawers. It was a bit stupid, but I had to do something. I walked through the hallways and found the kitchen. There were 5 officers, arguing about who gets to have the last ice cream sundae. I killed them all by kicking them, and sticking my sword right through their stomachs.
I walked out of the kitchen with the sundae, I put it inside a cold case to keep it from melting. It’s too bad none of those officers got the sundae. I ran into Ken and told him I killed 7 officers. Ken said he killed 10, so there were 283 police officers left.
“I got an ice cream sundae!” I told Ken.
“Good. You can have it, I don’t want any.” Ken said.
“We still have 283 officers to kill.” I said.
“We just need to gather them all at the same place so we can kill them. Agreed?”
“Agreed.” Ken replied.
And so we went back to the security room to make an “announcement”.
“Attention everyone. Ken and I escaped the cell and we are here to say that you’re all stupid, we’re going to escape and there’s nothing you can do about it!”
I told all the officers that they were stupid, which caused some trouble. Ken and I ran to the center of the hovercraft and lured all the police to have one more fight.
Ken and I encountered 10 policemen, and we ended up killing them.
“Are you sure this is going to work?” Ken asked.
“Yes, this is definitely going to work. Trust me, it will.” I replied.
“Okay…”
Ken and I encountered 5 policemen, they pulled their gun triggers, but we deflected them. The bullets shot the officers, and they died.
268 officers were still alive, but soon they will all die because of us.
“We have to keep running, come one!” I said.
“How exactly will we kill all the police officers on the hovercraft?” Ken asked.
“First, we gather them to the center of the hovercraft, you already know that part. Second, we fight them until every single one of them dies.” I answered.
“Okay. Once we kill them all, I want to get in my house and stay there! I don’t want to travel for like a few years or so. At least not too far away. Maybe just to go to the mall.” Ken said.
Ken and I arrived at the center of the hovercraft, and so did all the police. We were ready to fight. Quickly I deflected bullets and dodged some punches. Ken struggled with a stun gun, but he got up. I sliced a leg off an officer and killed him. Ken punched, kicked, swung his sword and killed 20 officers. We both killed a total of 70 officers, and dodged some bullets and punches. The battle was intense, but it was just starting.
Ken got shot 8 times, but the karuta protected him from getting hurt. I sliced right through an officer’s stomach, and punched 4 officers in the face. Ken ran away from all the fighting, what was he doing? After a few minutes, I killed 40 more officers. And then Ken got a minigun from the weapon room and shot a whole bunch of policemen and policewomen!
The minigun shot a bunch of officers and killed them. I also ran to the weapon room. I got a rocket launcher and blew up a lot of things with it.
“HEY, watch it!!!” Shouted Ken.
“Sorry!” I replied.
The powerful blast killed 100 officers! Ken and I were about to win, until one of the officers got a rocket launcher of their own from another weapon room!
Ken and I ran away from the rockets. Dodging the rockets was difficult, the blasts were intense. But Ken and I kept going, we wouldn’t give up.
“Ken! Distract the officer, and then when I shoot, move out of the way!”
“Okay!!!”
Ken distracted the police officer, he was the last one left because he killed all the others trying to kill us. Ken made a good distraction, and so I pulled the trigger on the rocket launcher and shot a rocket at the officer.
“Ken! Move out of the way!!!” I yelled.
“Okay!!!”
And so, the officer died. All of the 300 police officers died.
“We did it Ken, we defeated the police!”
The police station made an announcement. They let us go and not bother us again. Now that’s what I call a job well done.
Ken and I got on the plane and quickly left the hovercraft. The hovercraft later crashed into Moscow as we were flying away back to Canada.
“We can finally go back home without any bad things happening.” I said.
After a while, Ken and I finally made it back to Quebec.
“Ken! Wake up, we’re here. We’re back home!”
“Really? That’s great!!!”
Ken and I got off the plane and went home.
“Well, it’s been nice knowing you. Are we friends?” Ken asked.
“Of course we’re friends. Best friends.”
After that conversation, we left to go to our houses.
It was getting dark outside. I was eating the sundae I got from the hovercraft’s kitchen. I put the loess dust on my shelf and got in bed.
“It’s been a long time since I was last here.” I said to myself.
I was still a bit hungry, so I ate the last bagel I had. 0 bagels remained.
